  • Your encryption keys never leave your device
  • We never see your secrets in unencrypted form
  • All encryption and decryption happens locally on your machine
  • We cannot access your data, even if requested

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:

  • Account Information: Email address and authentication tokens (stored securely in OS credential store)
  • Usage Data: Basic usage statistics to improve our service (no sensitive data)
  • Machine Information: Machine ID and hostname for device registration

3. What We Don't Collect

We explicitly do NOT collect:

  • Your environment variables or secrets
  • Your encryption keys
  • File contents or commit messages
  • Storage credentials or access tokens

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain our service
  • Authenticate your account
  • Register your devices
  • Improve our service (using anonymized data)

5. Data Storage

Your encrypted secrets are stored in your own cloud storage (S3, GCS, Azure, etc.). We never store your secrets on our servers. Authentication tokens are stored securely in your OS credential store (Keychain, Secret Service, CredMan).

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With your explicit consent
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our rights and safety

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Request deletion of your account and data

  • Export your data
